A Peek at Our Week

Social Studies:

Last week the students worked in partners to become experts on a landmark. This week the students took some time to teach us what they learned.

The Liberty Bell

Vietnam Veteran's Memorial

National World War II Memorial

Arlington National Cemetery

Mount Rainier National Park

The Redwood Forest

All of our wonderful presenters!

Team Time:

We talked about New Year's Eve traditions and resolutions. After reading Squirrel's New Year's Resolution we began thinking of our own resolutions. To read the book again, click play below.

A message from the Reporter Action Team...

The holiday party is tomorrow. Parents can help with running the games. Parents have to sign in at 2:40pm and then help from station to station. Parents can talk to other parents if they want to switch stations.

We're working on our writing pieces. We learned how to make shapes and how to type.

We are learning about our National Monuments. This week we have learned about the Liberty Bell, Mount Rainier National Park, the National World War II Memorial, the Redwood Forest, the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, and Arlington National Cemetery.

Thanks for reading this week!

Check back later for some pictures from our Holiday Party.
