The Gummy Bear Mission and Promise

Throughout the first couple weeks of school we worked hard to decide a class name, a class mission and a promise. 

After reading The Name Jar by Yangsook Choi we created a list of class names and voted on the best one for the 2014-2015 school year. Our class decided on the Gummy Bears because "we're cute and sweet and super flexible, especially when it comes to learning."

The next thing we did after we had a name was create a class mission and a class promise. Inside our class promise you'll find the Barretts mission - "Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Safe".
